How not to grow fat when business partners feed us with knowledge and food for 2 consecutive days?
A common myth people have is that it is difficult to cope with so many different product from different companies. The fact is regardless you are providing financial solutions from just one insurer or (in my case) about 7 insurers to your client, you need to know all the products. Afterall, “知己知彼, 百战百胜”(know thy self, know thy enemy). Can one say I don’t know about THAT company plan when your client ask how is yours compared to THAT ? what if THAT company has a better plan? The difference is if you are a tied agent, you can talk about it and as an independent financial adviser, we can do something about it.
